Michelle offers nearly 20 years of professional experience, predominantly in international organizations and teams. Her background and chief passion lies within working with cross-cultural teams helping them to achieve a heightened awareness and the value diversity can bring to an organization.
She understands the demands of corporate life, particularly the challenges of working across cultures. Key to success is maintaining a work/life balance with a focus on wellness – her specialty. For individuals relocating to a new country for work or personal reasons, she helps clients rediscover their identity and embrace the challenges in creative ways.
She has a wide range of experience from innovative start-up to international Fortune 100 companies, such as Intel, Dow Corning, Dow Chemical, Nike, DIRECTV, Kaiser, and boutique professional services firms. Her exposure to a diverse array of industries within manufacturing, automotive supply chain, healthcare and pharmaceutical IT, chemical, semiconductor, music, social media, broadcast, and enterprise content management adds a diverse and unique perspective allowing her to wear multiple hats and successfully work with any industry.
As a true thought leader, she has been involved in managing enterprise projects, programs and products, driving business & marketing strategies, social media marketing, business development, business & organizational transformation, conflict management, business process improvement, and corporate governance while being able to think “outside the box.” Michelle naturally assesses organizations in all aspects, builds trust, and establishes advocates to ensure success.
A high level of cultural and emotional intelligence was cultivated through international, multi-cultural environments through her work/live/study abroad experience in Latin America, Europe, and corporate international teams. She believes that high-performing teams are made up of diverse backgrounds and values different perspectives and cultures, which foster an environment of constant innovation.
She holds a BS from the University of Michigan, MS in Global Leadership (MSGL) from the University of San Diego, spoke at the MSGL commencement, was a featured “Successful, Interesting, and Inspiring MSGL Grad,” alumni guest panelist, MSGL guest lecturer on the topic of "leading and working within global teams," and continues to be a guest lecturer at USD.
Michelle holds certifications as a Business Process Management Practitioner (BPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Executive Coaching.
Michelle enjoys a challenge as much in her free time as well as professionally and can be seen participating in a multitude of adventure sports and enjoying nature. Her true passion is mountain biking where she used to compete at the professional level in downhill. When not partaking in outdoor activities, she enjoys traveling around the world, taking in the marvels and cultures it has to offer. She is actively involved in organizations to help women and alleviate poverty across the globe through long-term solutions with near-term results.

Ryan Sullivan, President

Ryan’s professional experience spans 15 years in energy, tourism, and consulting sectors working with blue chip companies, government organizations and NGOs in North America, Europe and Latin-America. His practice areas include business development, sales and marketing and management. He possesses strong interpersonal skills and high level of emotional intelligence that allows him to comfortably and effectively communicate with C-suite executives and other key stakeholders. Ryan is able to listen to the client’s needs and use his sharp business acumen to develop sustainable strategies that deliver high-impact results to the organization and their clients alike.
Ryan’s passion for cross-cultural communication and vast experience working and living abroad in numerous countries and travel to over 30 countries is an invaluable asset for clients as they look to identify, analyze, plan and successfully access and operate in foreign markets. Ryan has a particularly strong knowledge of the Latin American markets, particularly Mexico. Living in Latin America for over five years and speaking the language fluently, gives him the ability to bridge the cultural gap that exists in both the social and business spheres. Simply put, Ryan knows how to navigate the cultural labyrinth allowing your organization to access and capitalize on the fast-growing emerging markets in Latin America and beyond. Ryan has been compared to a chameleon for his ability to genuinely engage with people from the C-level to the local indigenous coffee grower in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is not uncommon for Ryan to be welcomed into a stranger's home in foreign lands.
Ryan holds a BA in both Spanish and Geography from the University of Colorado, Boulder and an MBA from The Grenoble Graduate School of Business (GGSB) in France. Ryan completed his thesis on Solar Energy with a focus on the US Private Utility sector and was the class representative for his graduate cohort. He is an outdoor enthusiast who has volunteered efforts in assisting several environmental causes. Ryan is a fluent Spanish and Portuguese speaker and holds dual US and Irish citizenship.
